Silver Whiskers Seniors
Why Seniors?
Because every kitty deserves a soft place to land.
Senior cats have so much love to give. They’re calm, affectionate, and deeply appreciative of a warm home and a gentle hand. Our Silver Whiskers program highlights adoptable senior kitties who are ready for their next chapter. When you welcome a senior into your life, you’re giving a wise, grateful companion the comfort and security they deserve.
Visit our website to complete an Adoption Consultation form and schedule an appointment to meet the seniors.
Every Silver Whisker has a story—and each one deserves a loving final chapter. Thank you for opening your heart to our senior kitties. Your compassion truly changes lives.

About Barcino
Barcino is a sweet senior gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger love for cozy companionship. He absolutely adores carrying around his little toy mice while proudly meowing about his “catch,” and he never misses an opportunity to scratch away on his favorite scratching post. When he’s ready to relax, you’ll often find him curled up for a nap on your lap or chest—on his own terms, of course. He’s an affectionate boy who enjoys love and attention while still appreciating his independence.
Please read: Barcino previously had his right eye removed after a biopsy revealed melanoma. Thankfully, follow-up pathology showed encouraging news: his melanoma appears to be a less aggressive form with a lower risk of metastasis. At this time, no additional treatment is necessary. His adopter should be prepared for routine follow-up care, including exams every 6 months initially, then annually, along with chest radiographs and monitoring of his remaining eye.
