Meet Chippin — A Friendly Senior Cat Looking for a Loving Home
Gender: Male
Age: 13 years old
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Color/Color Pattern: Cream Colourpoint Shorthair
If you’re searching for a sweet, affectionate senior cat for adoption, Chippin may be the perfect match. He’s a friendly, affectionate senior who loves company and conversation. He’ll greet you at the door, follow you around for attention, and happily curl up in your lap for quiet time. He prefers to be the only cat in the home so he can enjoy all the love to himself.
Chippin has hyperthyroidism and is currently managed on Methimazole 5mg (1/2 tablet twice a day by mouth). He will require blood work in 6 months (mid-September 2026) to review his thyroid function and response to medication. This is needed because of slightly elevated levels in spite of being on meds. His recent elevated levels may be related to a short period off medication.
